Real Estate Values in Durango, Co According to county records, the Realtor publications and the Durango Herald, Durango Co real estate values  have dropped slightly in the last 2 years but not near as much as in other parts of the USA.

From all indicators, Durango Co real estate is holding its own, few to no foreclosures and properties are selling for near as much as they did three years ago, in fact, commercial properties downtown are still bringing all time record highs when sold. It looks like Durango Co Real Estate is still a great investment.

Acreage and country property sales appear to be doing fairly well, although there has definitely been a slow down in sales, prices do not seem to be going down on Durango Co Real Estate. City homes that are in old parts of town, fixer uppers, have dropped a little but there are still very few deals for those who want to purchase an inexpensive property to fix up. We have noticed there are some town homes that are lowering prices as they have not sold since the boom, however, we had a terrible rush of town homes being built prior to the recession there is no wonder why they are not selling. There is definitely no shortage of low income townhomes on the market but getting a steal is probably out of the question in Durango.

All told, Durango Colorado Real Estate is still a great investment for a young family and people are moving to Durango to get away from the bad weather and disaster conditions going on in other parts of the U.S. Durango’s weather is a calling card like no others and for sports minded people there is no better place to visit or move in the United States!

We hope you will take a good look at our Durango Co Real Estate.
